About James McGowan
James McGowan has been a law enforcement professional since 1987, with a diverse technical skill set, including twenty-one years of homicide investigation. James retired as the Lieutenant of the Homicide Unit in the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, County Detective Bureau. James has earned a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy – Session #258. He has been an adjunct professor and guest speaker at several colleges and universities, including DeSales University, The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and Temple University.
